The Auckland Writers Festival programme brings together a diverse lineup of local and international authors, thinkers, and storytellers across a packed schedule of talks, panels, and events. To support digital audiences, the printed programme was transformed into an interactive online edition, making it easy for readers to explore sessions, speakers, and festival highlights from any device.
Designed for mobile-first browsing, the digital guide allows readers to move seamlessly through the programme and connect directly to event information and ticketing.
The 96-page printed booklet was converted into a mobile articles edition using the Realview digital publishing platform. The publication was supplied as a digital-ready file (300 DPI, single combined PDF including covers) and customised beyond the standard layout to align with the Auckland Writers Festival brand.
Custom colours and logos were integrated throughout the interface, and a dedicated landing page was developed to host the publication. Interactive links were embedded across the programme, directing readers to the festival ticketing provider for each event, while additional links connect readers to advertiser and sponsor websites. The result is a fully interactive programme that preserves the design integrity of the printed guide while adding the convenience and immediacy of digital access.
