CIRCUIT: Dialogues in Artist Moving Image celebrates a decade of artist moving image production in Aotearoa New Zealand, documenting 46 commissioned works created through CIRCUIT's annual commissioning programme between 2015 and 2025. Bringing together essays by leading curators and writers, film stills, and profiles of each commissioned work, the publication reflects on the evolution of artist moving image practice in Aotearoa and CIRCUIT's role in fostering international dialogue and collaboration.
Designed by Eva Charlton, the publication was produced as a section sewn paperback with a removable dust jacket. The 196-page book is printed on 120gsm Munken Polar White, with selected sections reproduced in metallic PMS 876U alongside full-colour signatures to distinguish different content throughout the publication.
The cover is printed on 300gsm woodfree card with a protective varnish, while the jacket is produced on 153gsm Diamond tracing paper with white UV printing. The translucent jacket creates a layered effect, partially revealing the artwork beneath while adding texture and depth.
