Tesseract

Jack Ross’s Tesseract is a poetry collection built around the idea of a tesseract, a four-dimensional hypercube, as a metaphor for the overlapping stories that make up a life. Family, work, relationships, places and everyday encounters connect to form a particular location in spacetime.

Illustrated by Scarlett Robinson-Kean, the collection brings together poetry and lively illustrations in a 105-page paperback published by Auckland-based press Paper Table. An earlier version of the collection was longlisted for the Kathleen Grattan award in 2025.
