Whakaaro / Thinking Notebooks are designed for design, journaling and planning, combining a durable, practical format with a distinctive design by Philip Kelly. Available in five colours, the notebooks feature natural fibre-board covers with foil debossing, rounded corners and a thread-sewn binding that allows them to open flat. Inside, 90gsm paper is printed with graph lines in mixed colour tones.
The notebooks were crafted and printed entirely in Aotearoa, with production involving Bookbinding Press, inc. Productions, B&F Papers, Touchprint Printing and Newton Cutting Formes. Proceeds from sales support Objectspace, Aotearoa's leading gallery dedicated to design, craft and architecture.
